Huidvriendelijksieraden.nl was founded in 2023 by Gwendolyn. After years of happily offering skin-friendly jewelry through Staartjes en Strikjes, I received more and more enthusiastic responses from customers. People who could not wear jewelry for years due to allergies or skin sensitivity let me know how happy they were finally able to wear jewelry without worries. That gave me the idea to give the unique collection of Blomdahl, made of titanium and pure medical plastic, its own place. That is how Huidvriendelijksieraden.nl came into being: a webshop completely dedicated to jewelry that stylish and safe for your skin.

About Gwendolyn

Before I became an entrepreneur, I worked in sales administration at Mercedes in Terneuzen. In 2009 I started Staartjes en Strikjes, a dream that slowly grew into a full-time business. It is wonderful to work from home and at the same time be there for my son and daughter. With the launch of Huidvriendelijksieraden.nl in 2023, a new dream came true: a webshop where people with sensitive skin or allergies can find jewelry that really suits them. In addition to my work, I love festivals and concerts, traveling, long walks and I like to read books. While working, music is my constant companion – a day without radio does not exist here!
